BAPTISM SET FOR THIS SATURDAY!!!!

Alright so very first off...WE HAVE A BAPTISM SET FOR THIS SATURDAY!!!! It’s with Jason, and were going to stop by tonight to make sure everything is still on! so be praying that he will prepare himself for this Saturday! May 30! Man it was exciting! It was my first baptismal date that I have set and man we were going crazy that night back at the apartment! So much energy!Blake excited as he records in his Journal about the setting of a Baptism date.
This week we have to work off all the food that was fed to us last week haha, we had 2 dinners on Friday night it was NUTS! Everything is going well here, like I said were stopping by Jason’s tonight to make sure its legit, and Sally is doing well, were going to try to set up a dinner this week with her with the Maxwell's (stake president) and Sister Maxwell is going to invite her to an Enrichment night. So cool little story...we were at Bond Park just contacting some peeps, and there totally was no one there so we were heading back to the apartment and these two kids about 17-18 came up to us and said that them and their friends want to talk to us and hear what we believe and such. So we talked to like 8 kids our age about our message for like 45 mins, it was cool! They had some great questions and hopefully what we said touched them in a way, and we gave them all internet cards to answer more of their questions, so that was pretty neat! It is week 6 of this transfer already! So it’s a good chance that I could be transferred next week! But I will find out on "Black Saturday" ha-ha.

This month has FLOWN by, it’s already almost done with May, that is so nuts, I don’t know about you guys but WOW! Well I hope everything is going well with everyone and Thank You Ryan and Jill for the package I love it! And the camera is GREAT the picture image is so LEGIT! I love you guys and miss you!

PRETTY COOL WEEK

This week was pretty cool! We were going to take Sally on the church tour last Thursday but she wasn’t able to because her sister was having some hard times, but she still invited us in to her home and we answered a lot of her questions and she loved them and we invited her to come to church on Sunday and she accepted! but...she called Saturday and said she couldn’t...due to some circumstances…she will need to take some baby steps, but we are taking her on a church tour tomorrow at 2; she really wants to see our church because she was so excited to go on Sunday but couldn’t and she still wants to learn and she knows that getting back into a church is VERY important to her and we’ll get her out soon!

The one family that we teach at the Hites, the Tanes (Gina, Jessica and Jessa and Rafael) they came to church yesterday and she loved it! And P.J.a ward missionary, he is a RM (returned Missionary) from the Dominican Republic gave a great lesson in Gospel Principles Sunday School class about the priesthood being restored to the earth! After church we went over to the Hites and had some dinner and taught them the 2nd half of the 2nd lesson, and she still understands it and has a great knowledge and faith in Jesus Christ! She believes everything that we teach her and believes that it really could be true! I love it! The spirit was NUTS in that home that night :) Along with them being at church Jason also was at church. Jason is a gator from the Sister Missionary’s in Morrisville, they handed him over to us, because he is moving into our area, and he has been taught all the lessons and he is SO ready to be baptized, we're just getting some concerns out of the way, so we meet with him Wednesday, and we want to press on the date of may 30 to be baptized!; and have him pray about it! So pray that it’ll go well please :) so on Saturday we were tracting this one street, and we were knocking doors and ran into this couple named B.J. and Randy, they were way cool and let us in right away and asked us questions about what we do and such, and we ended being there for about 45-an hour just answering their questions about our faith which was so cool! and they kept commenting on how they can see the spirit coming out from us! It felt so good to be commenting on after the day of being rejected and some accepting. They are both Catholic and they are part of a non-denominational bible study group and they said they will ask the other people apart of it if they can invite us, if not they will have us go back to their home and teach! It was so cool! Ha-ha, Missions are so LEGIT! I’m pretty sure Ryan and dad can testify! Peace Out!

MOTHER'S DAY CALL

Since we spoke with Blake on the phone yesterday we granted him immunity today in the emailing home department and we told him write a few friends he has been meaning to write to and has not. It was SOOOOO WONDERFUL to hear his voice and had a great talk with him and while the whole family was on one big conference call so Gina, Nate and Kade (in Pittsburgh) could be a part of it too. After we got off the phone I thought...hey this was a Mother’s Day call and I did not get any one on one time with him. Oh well ...next time.

Here are a few highlights from the call....

IT'S STARTING TO HEAT-UP & NEW BRAKES FOR THE BIKE

This week was BOMB DIGGITY! Yes My New Companion is Elder Holbrook, from Layton Utah. Everyone thinks that were brothers because we look alike I guess...he has been out for 10 ½ months and served in Tarboro, Hope Mills and Pinehurst (where the tight golf courses are).

The only thing that was wrong with my bike was the brakes; Rex bought some new breaks for me with the money you sent, thank you! And he is putting them on as we speak! So that will be it, the bike will be in good shape; no worries mom, I haven’t gotten in a bike wreck.

Well the new Mission President seems cool. It’ll be tight to meet them when he starts the calling in NC. Man that weather is starting to get intense! There were a couple days where I was completely soaked ha-ha. It’s been like 85+ plus the humidity which SUCKS! But it’s only going to get worse I guess ha-ha. So the Elder who had the surgery on his hernia got transferred to another area, so now we get the car every other week. We share the car with the Elders in Apex.

Alright...we set a baptismal date! We found a new gator Sally, and we had a lesson with her, and we set a goal for her to work towards which is May 30! so it’s not set in stone but she accepted that to be her goal! We are going to be meeting with Remmy and a new gator given to us by the Sister missionaries in Morrisville, Jason, and we are going to set a baptismal date with those 2 as well! The work is starting to roll! I love it! But Sally told us to give her couple weeks to really read ponder and pray about the Book of Mormon and our religion. We want to take her on a tour of our church building and see how she feels being inside of it! Man I’m stoked! On Saturday we had a dinner with the Hite's and they had a lady and her daughter over who Bro Hite has been working on to get ready to take the lessons. Gina (mom) and Jessica (daughter) are their names and WOW the lesson went GREAT! She understood so much and Jessica was asking why do we need to be baptized and how to receive the holy ghost (she is in 6th going into 7th grade) it WAS SWEET! We are going over there Saturday again for another dinner and lesson 2! I love it! Members are starting to get involved! We are working so hard I love it. Its great working with Holbrook, we work so hard I love it! So tired at the end of the day, but our results tell the story!

I look forward to hearing your voices on SUNDAY!
