TRANSFER/NEW ASSIGNMENT and .....JUST MADE MY WHOLE MISSION....
Well I found out last Monday right after emailing, pretty much, that I am going to be getting transferred, but I am getting called to be Zone Leader. I don’t know which zone or where, because President Cotterell said he didn’t want to ruin the surprise ha-ha. But I am excited to start this leadership and ready to learn a lot.
VIDEO NOW THAT IS A SERIOUS DOWNPOUR
So if you remember Maurice, he was my first baptism while here. He can’t read well at all, but we have been working on the Sacrament Prayer for the bread for him to say it. And I mentioned to them I would be leaving so yesterday at church he decided to do it! I went up there with him and helped him out and he did GREAT! Didn’t have to say it the 2nd time. He was so scared and nervous though ha-ha. Man that just made my whole Mission pretty much ha-ha. We had a dinner with S…. and her family on Friday night and had a lesson after wards, she is the one who is living with a man and they aren’t married...because her last marriage their divorce isn’t final yet, but we had a good lesson with her. Corey is going well, he came to church and just doing what he does. So a cool story, Elder Jensen and I talked to this one lady in her garage and had a great conversation with her and the past 2 Mondays we came to email she has been here, so I have been talking to her more, and weird enough, we're actually sitting by each other right now, she is cool and a great lady. She is studied for Physics...tough stuff ha-ha. anywho...
This area has been great; I will miss Raleigh 4 area. We have dinner with the Martinez tonight, so I can say bye and all that and the Green's and Bishops family! I love this work with all my heart. Elder Bearnson and I compared it to golfing today, it’s frustrating, but once you get that good drive, or good contact or investigator it makes up for everything! Then you find your grove and tear it up for a couple holes or weeks, and you'll struggle along the way but you'll find it again. ha-ha. That’s my sermon. I know this church is true and the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored back onto the earth and its absolute fullness and the blessings are real and waiting for us!! Well next Monday I will be hittin’ y’all up from a different area and new companion!

THE MORGANS

I love and miss all y’all!

HEATING UP - TRANSFERS LOOMING - BAPTISMAL DATE SET
Let me just start off by saying...we played the main 18 hole course on last weeks P-Day at TPC at Wakefield Plantation!!! WOOO! I took a lot of pics, so don’t worry about that. It was legit! Such a nice course and man, it was just fun. We only played 9 holes and then we drove to the 18th hole and played it. so nice :)
FINALLY WE PLAYED THE MAIN TPC WAKEFIELD PLANTATION COURSE! (VIDEO)18TH HOLE
So this week is week 6, Elder Jensen's last transfer of the mission! We’ll find out this Saturday "black Saturday" if either of us are getting transferred, which we both don’t think we are...but you never know. By the way Elder Thompson says "what up homie dawg", he comes down from Zebulon to chill with us every other p-day.
So this week we got a new investigator, his name in Aboubakar, he is from Congo. He ordered a Book of Mormon which a friend of his told him to do. He’s like 19-21 and a really cool guy. We had a good lesson with him and we will be seeing him this Friday! He wasn’t able to come to church yesterday, but he said he will this Sunday, which is good because we have a "munch and mingle" after wards. And while I was on exchanges with Elder Bearnson this week on Tuesday, Elder Jensen set a baptismal date with Kim for Aug 28! So now we just need to get her ready for it! Kim is a former investigator we got up with and wants to get back into church and so she accepted the date :) She is over-due with a baby, so she should be having it any time pretty much. Other than that, things are improving; people are starting to come back from vacations so we can actually find some people to teach ha-ha. It has been HOT! I think for 3 days straight the heat index was like 108...it sucked ha-ha, but it rained a little bit, so it’s cooler today, just humid though.
Well my family, I hope all is well and know that I love all of y'all. I know that this church is true and the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true and can greatly bless us in our lives if we live it and just strive to be happy :) take care and I love you!
Much love,

WOW AN AMAZING WEEK! & 18 MONTH MARK
WOW, so what a week, well pretty much the weekend was amazing! On Saturday we had the Baptisms! Kimberly and Samantha were both Baptized!
ELDER HENRICKSEN, KIMBERLY, SAMANTHA,& ELDER JENSEN
THE MARTINEZ FAMILY
We joined with the Bagley's for their kid’s Baptism so 3 were baptized on Saturday! And I did my first Confirmation on Sunday! It was so amazing! You can feel the Spirit that she received go right through you...I can't even begin to explain how great that was! and on Sunday as well I was able to ordain the Aaronic Priesthood to Robert (part of the Martinez family) that family has made a lot of steps this weekend! The mom (Lisa) is coming back active, her 2 younger girls were baptized this week and her 12 yr old son received the priesthood this week! They just have one more son to go, he is 7. And of course Ted, non-member. He is coming along though, slowly but surely. I’m just so stoked for that family! They are definitely heading in the right direction; I feel I was sent here to help them out. I love that family. And on Saturday as well after the baptism, we took Corey to the Temple with Brother Harrison. It was SWEET! We walked around the Temple grounds, talked, answered questions and went into the lobby and chilled, and just so happens that President Steinback, (Temple President) comes out in the lobby and talks to Corey for like 5 minutes! Miracle! Man it was amazing! It got Corey excited and made him feel the spirit more and more determined now to keep living strong till next year for his baptism.
Well my family, it was a great week and Elder Jensen and I are stoked to work this week and feed off of the Spirit that we felt this week! I hope everything is going well. I miss and love each and every one of y'all. I know Jesus Christ lives and loves us all. Book of Mormon is true and this is His work! and I’ll keep working till I’m told to stop. LOVE YOU

STRENGTH THROUGH CHALLENGES
I hope y’all had a Happy 4th of July. Ours was just another day. Since there are SO many trees here, we heard the fireworks at our apartment, but we couldn't see them ha-ha, but oh well, only 2 of them will miss.
Our lesson with Drew, Brother Brown’s friend, that we tracted in to was great. Even though he didn’t except a return appointment we felt that we taught him well and really got the message to him. And it’s up to them to use their agency from there. Brother Brown came to the lesson with us and he felt great about the lesson and is excited to follow up with him in the future. And Corey is doing well. This Saturday after the baptism we're going to go to the temple with him and Brother Harrison and walk around and let him feel the spirit from it and soak it all in! I’m excited for that; it will help him out for sure. Well it was another week though of lessons set up and them falling through. But I’m here to say that I have learned so much from this. I have never relied on the Lord this much in my whole life...I have needed his comfort and He is there. I have needed His strength and I was strengthened to keep pressing forward. Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father are mindful of us all; they know what we're going through and what we need the most. It’s up to us to go get it. I love my mission and love the work and I love the trials and challenges that humble me and make me feel as in Alma 26.
Thank you so much for the love and support that y'all have given me, especially the prayers, I know Jesus Christ used them to help me through the difficult times. I love and miss all of y’all.
Much Love,
